I began my career with Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. in October, 1991 as an Industrial Engineer for the Logistics Division. In 1994, was promoted to Manager of Industrial Engineering for the Logistics Division. I joined the Information Systems Division in 1996 as director for logistic applications. I then assumed responsibility for the back office store application systems in 2002 where my involvement with RFID began. In 2003, I assumed responsibility for corporate financial systems and was promoted to Vice President. In 2005, I assumed responsibility of ISD Global Sourcing and Procurement for Domestic and International locations along with having responsibility for SAM’s information systems. In 2007, I assumed responsibility for several of the ISD infrastructure areas to include Data Centers, IT Operations, Business Continuity, Database Systems and Administration, and Walmart’s Global .Com Infrastructure. In 2011, I assumed responsibility for all International systems and was promoted to Senior Vice President. I became the Senior Vice President of the Global Back Office Solutions team in 2014, and was responsible for the deployment of processes and systems for Walmart’s global corporate back office transformation in all countries in which Walmart does business.
As of January 2017, I was promoted to Chief Technology Officer for Walmart International and was responsible for helping meet the ever-changing needs of our customers around the world through innovative technology solutions including Mergers, Acquizitions and Divestitures.
